3. Account Registration
Creating your account
To access trading features, you must register for an account. During registration, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You must promptly update your information if it changes. Providing false or misleading information is grounds for immediate account termination.
Account security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to:
- ·Use a strong, unique password that you do not use elsewhere
- ·Never share your password or access credentials with any third party
- ·Notify us immediately at hello@sabi9ja.markets if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account
- ·Log out of your account at the end of each session on shared devices
Sabi9ja will never ask you for your password via email, SMS, or phone. Any request for your password purporting to come from Sabi9ja should be treated as a phishing attempt and reported immediately.
One account per person
You may only maintain one Sabi9ja account. Operating multiple accounts, whether to circumvent restrictions, exploit bonuses, or for any other reason, is strictly prohibited and will result in the termination of all associated accounts and the forfeiture of any balances therein.
4. Platform & Services

- ·Access to live prediction markets across sports, politics, finance, economics, forex, crypto, entertainment, and other categories
- ·A digital wallet for depositing, holding, and withdrawing Naira balances
- ·Real-time price discovery and market data
- ·Educational resources, market commentary, and research tools
- ·Account management and transaction history
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.
5. Prediction Markets
Market creation and curation
All markets on the Sabi9ja Platform are created or approved by Sabi9ja's internal team. Each market includes a clearly stated question, resolution criteria, resolution date, and the authoritative data source that will be used to determine the outcome.
Resolution criteria
Market outcomes are determined solely according to the resolution criteria published in each market at the time of opening. Sabi9ja's resolution team uses only the specified authoritative sources. By trading in a market, you accept the stated resolution criteria in full.
In cases where the stated resolution source is unavailable or unreliable, Sabi9ja reserves the right to use an alternative comparable authoritative source. Any such substitution will be announced publicly before resolution.
Market voidance
A market may be voided (cancelled) in any of the following circumstances:
- ·The underlying event is cancelled, postponed indefinitely, or does not occur within the market's validity period
- ·The stated resolution source becomes unavailable and no comparable alternative exists
- ·The outcome is genuinely ambiguous and cannot be determined with reasonable certainty
- ·Evidence of market manipulation or technical error that materially affected trading activity
In all voided market scenarios, all stakes are refunded in full to participant wallets within 48 hours, with no deductions or fees.
Resolution disputes
If you believe a market has been incorrectly resolved, you may submit a formal dispute within 72 hours of resolution via hello@sabi9ja.markets. Please include your account ID, the market ID, your position, and the basis for your dispute. Sabi9ja's resolution committee will review all disputes and issue a final decision within 5 business days. All resolution committee decisions are final and binding.
6. Trading Rules
Order execution
All trades on Sabi9ja are executed through our automated market maker (AMM) system. Prices displayed at the time of placing a trade are indicative; the actual execution price may differ slightly due to price movement between order submission and execution. By placing a trade, you accept the executed price as final.
Minimum and maximum trade sizes
The minimum single trade size is ₦500. The maximum single trade size is ₦100,000 per order. Sabi9ja may apply lower limits for specific markets, particularly new or low-liquidity markets. Applicable limits are displayed on each market's trading page before you place an order.
Sufficient funds requirement
You must have sufficient funds in your Sabi9ja wallet to cover the full value of any trade at the time of placement. Trades submitted without adequate funds will be rejected. You may not trade on credit or margin.
Irrevocability
Once a trade is confirmed and executed, it cannot be cancelled or reversed. You may, however, offset your position by trading in the opposite direction (e.g., selling YES shares you previously bought) provided the market remains open for trading. Selling carries its own execution risk and the market price at the time of your sell order may differ from your original entry price.
7. Fees & Payments
Sabi9ja charges a platform fee of 2% of every trade staked. This fee is deducted when you place a trade and applies whether your position wins or loses. There are no deposit fees or withdrawal fees.
A liquidity spread applies to all trades, which is the difference between the buy and sell price of shares at any given moment. This spread maintains the market's liquidity pool and is not a fee charged by Sabi9ja directly — it is a natural feature of automated market makers.
Sabi9ja does not charge account maintenance fees, inactivity fees, or subscription fees. Our complete, current fee schedule is always available at sabi9ja.markets/fees. We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with 30 days' advance notice.
8. Deposits & Withdrawals
Deposits
Funds may be deposited to your Sabi9ja wallet via Nigerian bank transfer, PayPal, or crypto. Minimum deposit amount is ₦500. Bank deposits typically reflect within 15 minutes; PayPal and crypto are credited after verification. Sabi9ja is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.
Withdrawals
You may request a withdrawal of your available balance at any time. Withdrawals are processed to the Nigerian bank account linked to your Sabi9ja account. The minimum withdrawal amount is ₦1,000. Withdrawals are processed within 1–3 Nigerian business days. Sabi9ja does not charge withdrawal fees; however, your bank may apply its own transaction charges.
For security purposes, large withdrawals may require additional verification. Sabi9ja reserves the right to delay processing withdrawals while conducting anti-fraud checks.
Wallet balance
Your Sabi9ja wallet balance represents funds held in trust for you. Your wallet balance is denominated in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and is not subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Interest is not paid on wallet balances.

14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sabi9ja Technologies Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgements, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
